This is definitely a post that is very 'this and that'. Perhaps not very interesting to many, but I thought it was funny, so I decided to share. I am learning how to blog, and so my posts will hopefully improve as I learn. I am a very 'conversational' writer, as you have likely seen in my first few posts. I like to visit with people, so don't hesitate to respond to leave feedback and visit with me too.

Many years ago, I had an older accordion. I don't even remember where I got it, but I played it for awhile, and then since I wasn't playing it, I sold it. Life was busy so I never thought about it again for quite a few years. Recently, I was given an older accordian. I have played it a few times already and am enjoying it. I don't mean to imply I play it 'well' but I did play it well enough that the grandkids knew the songs I was playing for them today . Considering that I have never been shown how to play an accordion, I consider it a win. My 3 youngest grandkids are very encouraging to me and told me today that I am doing a great job at it, which made me giggle. They are little though, and certainly don't know how it would sound if I were really good at it. ha ha They are precious little people and such encouragers. They hear with ears of love for their nana vs. highly trained ears, and that is just fine with me.

Does anyone reading this play an accordion? If so, do you have any tips for me to help me play it better? If so, feel free to share suggestions with me. I love music and imagine myself playing the piano and the accordian way better than I actually do. Some day when I get to heaven, I will ask the Lord to give me some supernatural abilities with music that I don't currently have here on earth. What a day that will be! One of the greatest things I look forward to in heaven is the music of praise and worship to God. I love times of corporate worship, but I also love times when it is just me alone worshipping my Savior. The times of worship (both corporate and private) are the times I sense the Lord's presence most. Can you even imagine how awesome heaven will be?

Until next time,

Judy
